What carat gold do you sell?
21 and 22 carat. That is what our customers ask for. It is deeper in colour than the 9 and 18 carat sold in the chain stores, and worth more by weight if you ever sell it back.
Why aren’t there prices on this website?
Because gold is priced by weight against the day’s rate, and that rate moves daily. A printed price would be wrong by the time you read it. Ask about a piece and we will weigh it and tell you on the spot.
Can I buy from you online?
No. Everything is sold in the shop. Gold at this carat is bought by weight and by eye. You should hold it, see the colour and watch it go on the scale.
Can you hold a piece while I pay it off?
Yes. Leave a deposit and the piece is put aside for you at the weight it was quoted. Bridal sets are usually held this way in the months before the wedding.
Do you buy gold, or take old gold in part exchange?

Are you open on Mondays?
No. We are open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:30am to 6pm.
How can I pay?

Do you do repairs?
Yes. Resizing, chain and clasp repair, re-stringing, cleaning, polishing and rhodium. Most small jobs are done here at the bench rather than posted away.
Can you make something to order?
Yes. Bring a photograph on your phone, a drawing, or a piece you already own. We will quote it by weight before anything starts.
What does Aroos mean?
عروس means bride. The shop is named for the work it is best known for: bridal gold, bought as a set and ready before the day. There is more on the about page.
