Aroos meansbride.
Families come in weeks before a wedding. The mother, the aunts, the bride, sometimes all at once, and they go home with a set that matches. Necklace, earrings, bangles, a ring.
We make sets to order, adjust pieces you already own so they sit properly beside the new ones, and hold things aside on deposit until the date. Bring a photograph of what you have in mind. Most of it we can make.
Everything in the cabinet is 21 or 22 carat. That is what our customers ask for, and that is what we keep.

The carat number is simply how much of the metal is gold. It is the first thing to settle, because it changes the colour, the price and what the piece is worth if you ever sell it back.
- 22 carat 91.6% gold
- The deepest colour. Traditional bridal and gift gold.
- 21 carat 87.5% gold
- A little harder, holds detail well. Common across the Gulf.
- 18 carat 75% gold
- The fine end of the chain-store counter. Paler, harder wearing.
- 9 carat 37.5% gold
- Mostly other metals. Very little gold to sell back.
We keep 21 and 22 because that is what our customers ask for. It is softer than 18, so the work is made heavier to carry it, which is also why these pieces are weighed rather than ticketed. The full gold guide →
The set,not the piece.
Bridal gold is bought together. The necklace has to sit with the earrings, the bangles have to carry the same pattern, and it all has to be ready for a date that will not move.
Come in early. We’ll go through what you already own, match the new work to it, and hold pieces aside on deposit until the week of the wedding. If something needs resizing before the day, that happens here.

The piece goes on the scale while you stand there. We apply the day’s rate for 21 or 22 carat and add the making charge. You see the number at the same moment we do.

Bringing old gold in
Broken chains, single earrings, pieces nobody has worn in fifteen years. Bring them. We weigh them, tell you what they are worth at today’s rate, and take that straight off whatever you are buying.

We quote it by weight
We work out roughly what the piece will weigh, apply the day’s rate for 21 or 22 carat, and add the making charge. You get the number before anything begins.
Deposit, then made
A deposit holds the gold at that rate. The work is done at the bench here.
Fitted before you take it
Sizing and adjustment happen in the shop, so it leaves fitting properly.

What carat gold do you sell?
21 and 22 carat. That is what our customers ask for. It is deeper in colour than the 9 and 18 carat sold in the chain stores, and worth more by weight if you ever sell it back.
Why aren’t there prices on this website?
Because gold is priced by weight against the day’s rate, and that rate moves daily. A printed price would be wrong by the time you read it. Ask about a piece and we will weigh it and tell you on the spot.
Can I buy from you online?
No. Everything is sold in the shop. Gold at this carat is bought by weight and by eye. You should hold it, see the colour and watch it go on the scale.
Do you do repairs?
Yes. Resizing, chain and clasp repair, re-stringing, cleaning, polishing and rhodium. Most small jobs are done here at the bench rather than posted away.
Can you make something to order?
Yes. Bring a photograph on your phone, a drawing, or a piece you already own. We will quote it by weight before anything starts.
Are you open on Mondays?
No. We are open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:30am to 6pm.
