The occasionsAnniversaries
The set is neverquite finished.
The wedding settled the carat, the colour and the pattern. Every anniversary after it has an easier job: add one piece to what she already wears, and let the set carry the years.
The gift joinswhat she wears.
Walk in for an anniversary and the first question is not what to buy. It is what she already has: the bangles from the wedding, the chain that has not come off since, the necklace that waits in its box for other people’s weddings. The new piece has to sit beside all of it, in the same gold.
That is easier here than it sounds, because this counter only carries 21 and 22 carat. A bangle bought this year holds the same deep colour as the pair from the wedding, so the stack reads as one set that grew, not a timeline of compromises.
And nothing needs a ticket, because nothing here is ticketed. The piece is weighed in front of you and priced at the day’s rate, the same arithmetic that priced the wedding set.
What the year could add.
- One more on the wristThe simplest year. Bring one of her bangles in, and the new one is chosen against it for colour and pattern, then priced by weight at the day’s rate.Bangles
- Earrings the necklace has waited forPhotograph the necklace she wears most and we will quote matching earrings by weight from the picture, before any work starts.Custom orders
- The everyday chain, lengthenedLength added or a tired clasp renewed at the bench here. Small work, on the piece she touches most.Repairs
Weeks out from the date, a piece can be put aside on deposit and collected when it matters.

The dinner ends.The gold keeps.
Ten anniversaries of this and the stack on her wrist is its own record, a ring of gold for every year somebody remembered. It gets worn every day, it can be weighed and sold back if it ever has to be, and one day it is handed on. Nothing else given on the night does all three.
Come and addto the set.
Bring a photograph of what she already wears, or one of her bangles in a pocket. We will match it at the counter, quote by weight, and hold the piece on deposit until the day.
